Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will arrive on PC in early 2027, roughly six months after its planned console launch. The announcement came via a brief statement on Rockstar's official website, putting an end to months of speculation about the PC release window.
The Timeline
The console versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S remain on track for a late 2026 release. Rockstar's statement emphasized that the extra development time for PC targets a "fully featured" port with ray tracing, ultrawide monitor support, and uncapped frame rates. Previous Rockstar PC ports have arrived 12 to 18 months after console launches. A six-month gap would be the shortest in the company's history.

What to Expect
The PC version is being developed in parallel by Rockstar's internal PC team, the same group that handled the Red Dead Redemption 2 PC port. Expected features include DLSS 4 support, ray-traced global illumination, and a dedicated photo mode. System requirements have not been announced yet.
